ADD LINK

The add link button is used to add an item to your website’s menu. It allows you to link a menu item with any webpage within or outside your website. You may for example make a menu item called my company, and after pressing the menu button your visitors will be taken straight to your company’s website.
Here is the screen you will see after pressing the Add link button:

Name area – names the menu item that will be linked to another page.
href area -  If the link target is an outside page  fill this field with the address you want the link to target.
To link to a page within your CMS type in: ?page=ID, where ID is the ID number of the page you want the link to target. You may check the ID of page in the Pages management section.
target area – changes the way the window shows when pressing the link. In this area you should write the following:
_blank – If you type in “_blank”, the browser will open the linked information in a new window
_self – If this is typed in to the target area, the browser will open the linked information in the window in the link was pressed.
alt area –This option adds additional functionality to your website. When your visitor hovers his mouse over a link in your website menu, a little window will display the message you typed in the alt area.

After putting in all the information you may save your changes or cancel them using the action menu on the bottom of your page.
