VIEW

The default setting for when you are in the edit mode is the view section. This is where you will find yourself after pressing the edit mode button. The view function allows you to browse through your website and choose the page that you want to edit. It is like a live replica of your website, with the difference that you will see the CMS panel on the top and bottom of your screen. 

Starting from the view area you will have three choices, which are edit, edit grid, and cancel (picture below).

The edit section is the place where you actually type in the information you want your visitors to see on your website. In the edit grid section you only tell your CMS where the information (such as text, pictures, colors and plugins) is to be located.
In other words, if you are planning to build a webpage from scratch, you would start from the edit grid section. The reason is that you would first need to tell your CMS where, for example the picture, the text or article should show on the webpage. If you only wanted to update an already existing page by changing a picture, its size or replacing outdated information, you would start from the edit section.

Edit is used for adding, changing, updating information, edit grid is the foundation on which you add new information or change the position of earlier made content. 
Pressing the cancel button will direct you straight to the pages management mode.
