DOWNLOAD PLUGIN

This plugin allows your visitor to download a specific pre-loaded file with a single click. To start adding and editing a download plugin you must first click the Plugin button on the top menue. Select the Download plugin on the Plugins list simply by clicking on it, and click the Next button on the bottom menu.

This is how your Downloadplugin screen may look after pressing the Next button:

This shows a list of all the downloads you have created for your visitors. This screen shows the Selected download plugin, its ID, Identifier, Language, Name and if its Enabled.

The bottom actionmenu will look like this:

Add         – This button allows you to create a new download plugin. After pressing this button you should see this screen:

This is the initial step in creating your new plugin. You must first choose an Identifier. This is what will be used to find your plugin when adding it to your page in the Edit mode.
The Name area is used to identify your download plugin by the CMS. The Language are allows you to set the language of your plugin.

You cannot use spaces or numbers in the Name area. Only alphanumeric signs are allowed.

Do not change the identifier in the future, if the specific plugin is already added to your website. This will case the Pages function to crash. To fix this you will have to revisit the Plugins section, go into the Download plugins area and give the Identifier its original name.

Editor        – This button allows you to edit the setting of the specific download that has been already created. The screen that shows after pressing this button is the same as when pressing the Add button. The only difference is that here you are editing an already created field, whereas pressing the Add allows you to create a new download.

Enable        – This option allows you to Enable or Disable the specific download plugin. If a plugin is disabled it will not be showed in the edit box when editing your plugin in the Edit mode. The default is set to Disabled when you first create your new download plugin. 

Reorder         – This button allows you to reorder the downloads.

Delete        – This button deletes the specific download plugin from the list.

Cancel         – This button takes you out of this section of your CMS.   

Next         – This option sends you further into the edit mode. It allows you to set additional options of the selected download plugin. After pressing the button, your screen should look like this:

This screen shows all the items in a download plugin. Each item represents a line in a list. The more items you have the more items your download list will have. The screen shows the selected plugin and the following:
1. Name – shows the name of the downloadable file. The visitor will see this as a hyperlink.
2. Path – shows where the file is located.
3. Description – this is the information that will be placed next to the Name of the file. It gives your visitor additional information about the file.
4. Enable – this shows if the list item is Enabled or Disabled.
The bottom actionmenu will look like this:

Add icon – In this moment this button allows you to add additional items, or files for downloading, to your list.
The edit screen that will show after pressing the Add button (picture below).
The Upload file area is where you add the file you want your visitor to be able to download from your website. By pressing the Browse button you will be able to search through the files on your computer and add the needed file.
The information added to the Description area will show by the Name of the file. It gives your visitor additional information about the file.
After filling in the needed areas, you may press the Save button to keep your changes or Cancel them.

Editor - I this moment this button allows you to edit the setting of the specific download item that has been already created. The screen that shows after pressing this button is the same as when pressing the Add button. The only difference is that here you are editing an already created item, whereas when pressing the Add allows you to create new items.

Reorder – In this moment this button allows you to reorder the items on your download list. After pressing this button you will see a screen similar to this one:
You may change the order by clicking and holding the field you want to move and then dropping it under the field you would like to see it.
After reordering your fields you should press the Save button if you wish to keep your changes. Pressing the Apply button works the same ass the Save button, but instead of going out of the Reorder mode it will remain you in it.

Delete – This button deletes the selected download item.
Cancel – This button takes you out of this section of your CMS.   
These are all the available options of the download plugin.

After creating your plugin you can now add it to a webpage using the Edit grid and Edit functions in the Edit mode.
